When Should You Get A Union Rep? Anytime that you feel you need one! If you feel that a situation could lead to you being the subject of an investigation and or disciplinary action, then get a Union Rep involved ASAP. Remember:An employee has the right to request Union Representation wherein it is reasonably anticipated that disciplinary action will result to the employee. If there is no Union representative available, the interview should be suspended or postponed until one is available, unless the employee waives his/her right to have an Union Representative. This is your right!
